Total U.S.

Total U.S.: the shooting star of the winter season. The first round of the Pavo Cup immediately started well for him. He could show his talent: Tied 1st with 88 points. On the final day he was a bit playful, which of course is not suprising for a 4-year-old stallion. But if a stallion is not really focused, of course you don't get high points yet and this was also the case at the beginning of the stallion competition for 4-year-old dressage stallions. Total U.S. has so much "go" and an enormous "turbo". These qualities are essential for the "big sport", but can work a bit against you in the early years. Because his rider Dinja van Liere took him to many competitions including the Subli Cup, he showed his talent more and more. This resulted in the victory of the Subli Cup finals at Jumping Amsterdam and the victory at the KWPN Stallion Show 2017. Thanks to their very convincing victory in the final test of the Stallion Competition he climbed up in the final standings and became reserve champion of the only just 5-year-old stallions.

Total U.S. has everything that a modern dressage horse should have: a gorgeous exterior, race, super mantality and 3 very good gaits. This combined with the valuable genes of Totilas (Gribaldi) and Donnerhall (through Sir Donnerhall and Don Schufro) should be able to make him a great sport horse and breeding stallion. His first foals are born in 2017.

2015 KWPN training report: Total U.S. is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good attitude. The stallion has much willingness to work, has a lot of "go" and a great rideability. The walk is regular, active and has good ground cover. The trot is light-footed and has good ground cover with a powerful and good carrying hindleg. The canter is uphill, light-footed with a lot of self-carriage. Total U.S. moves uphill, with much to very much suppleness, self-carriage and balance. As dressage horse Total U.S. shows much to very much talent and he gives his rider a good to very good feeling.
