Osaka

Osaka is a stallion with a lot of talent, which must be trained with patience in the basic sport. Not every horse can handle the tension of shows as a young horse, so we slowly develop his talent. Because what a powerhouse Osaka is and what strength he shows! He is the ideal stallion for mares that need size and whose canter needs improvement. In our Dutch breeding there are many of this type of mares for which Osaka can be the ideal stallion.
Osaka is a son of the Grand Prix stallion Escolar, who has caused a lot of furore with his breeding in recent years. His strong mother line makes him complete.

Pedigree:
Osaka is the first KWPN-approved son of Escolar, the stallion who performed very successfully internationally in the Grand Prix under Hubertus Schmidt. Mother Capri P (elite pref EPTM dress PROK) descends from the keur stallion Florencio. This very well tested mare achieved a score of no less than 88.5 points in the EPTM, including five times a nine and comes from the well-known lineage of Huub and Tiny van Helvoirt. In addition to Osaka, Capri P also serves as mother of the KWPN stallion Grenoble (by Bordeaux). Capri P also produced Irendy P (by Jack Sparrow) and Jefferson P (by De Niro), who are classified at Z1 and Z2 level respectively.

Grandmother Orendy (star pref perst of Jazz) serves as mother of the KWPN stallion Zhivago (by Krack C), as well as the Heavy Tour horses Anderson P (by Painted Black) and Estados (by Krack C) and the Z1 -dressage horse Scaramouche. The mother's line continues with the well-known keur preferent performance mare Endy (Ulft x Amor), whose offspring have performed in both sport and breeding. Endy serves as mother of the NMK champion and Z2 classified Andy, the international Grand Prix horse Broere Karmijn, the Small Tour horse Zendy and is grandmother and great-grandmother of a large number of internationally performing dressage horses. In addition, Endy is grandmother of the KWPN stallions Charmeur, Zuidenwind and Viento Uno W.

Osaka is an impressive, sympathetic stallion with a lot of work ethic and a good to very good attitude. The stallion is easy to train. The step is very powerful and has a good transition, but could be even more consistent. In the trot the stallion moves with a lot of impulsion and suspension. The trot has good rhythm, space, and a hind leg that carries more than enough. The canter is very powerful, has a lot of suspension and a lot of balance. Osaka moves with a lot to a lot of flexibility, a very good balance with a lot of switching ability. Osaka has a lot of power and forward drive in motion. Osaka has a lot to a lot of talent as a dressage horse and gives his rider a good to very good feeling.
