Keano RS2

With Marieke van der Putten in the saddle, Keano RS2 won the VSN Trophy as a 3.5-year-old. More than half a year later, Keano RS2 added the Pavo Cup title for four-year-olds to his palmares. This was expanded in December 2019 by winning the semi-final of the Subli Cup for 4-year-old dressage horses. In January 2020 they won the Final of the Subli Cup for four-year-olds together during Jumping Amsterdam. Of course, Governor's son was also selected for the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses in Verden, which unfortunately could not take place due to the corona pandemic.

Test rider Philip Hess praised Keano RS2 in the final of the Pavo Cup: “Keano RS2 is a horse with a lot of potential, has a lot of talent for the sport, and is very easy to ride.”

If we study the pedigree of Keano RS2, his qualities can be explained very well. With sire Governor and dam AJ Wendy, the best dressage pedigrees of Fidora and Wendy in the Netherlands have come together.

Top talent Governor is on his way to the Grand Prix and has inherited many qualities from his phenomenal sire Totilas. Governor's dam is the well-known mare Orleans, the full sister of Parzival, and Fleau de Baian. Orleans is also dam of multiple European champion Athene TC and family of many top horses from this line of Fidora (Ulft x Roemer), granddam of the approved stallions Armani and Jerveaux.

Keano's dam AJ Wendy already produced a descendant in the Small Tour and two Third level dressage horses. She herself showed her talent in IBOP with 8s for her trot, canter, her suppleness, and an 8.5 for her rideability and workability. The Grand Prix stallions Krack C and Montecristo in her pedigree underline her talent and breeding power. We know great-grandmother J.Wendy (s. Ulft) as the grandmother of the Grand Prix mare Dowendy and great-grandmother of the Small Tour horse Hamilton. J.Wendy is the full sister of Endy, who enriched the breeding with excellent dressage horses and many approved stallions. Huub van Helvoirt bred both mares out of Wendy (s. Amor), who is the base of the approved stallions Asgard's Ibiza, Estados, Edelman, Fürst Jazz, Grenoble, Charmeur, Viento Uno, Wilton, Zhivago, Zuidenwind, and the Grand Prix- horses Arthur, Bon Passa, Endy BH, Godot SSF, Karmijn, Wish, and Zorro.
