Among the top ten in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires

For the third year in a row, Sir Donnerhall I is among the top ten of the world's most successful dressage sires according to the ranking of the World Breeding Association WBFSH. The fact that Sir Donnerhall I inherits maximum willingness to perform is also proven by his ranking among the top 50 of the world's best eventing sires.

His more than 70 Grand Prix-successful offspring include the Olympic participant Samhitas/Kelly Layne/AUS, the three World Cup participants Valentine/Ashley Holzer/USA, Willingapark Sky Diamond/Jayden Brown/AUS and Sir Caramello OLD/Anush Agarwalla/ IND, the European Championship participants Santiago Song/Thibault Vandenberghe/BEL and Sangraal/Stella Hagelstam/FIN as well as the successful World Cup freestylers Serenade MF/Alice Tarjan/USA, Valentine/Ashley Holzer/USA and Syriana/Jessica Dertell/AUS and the Nations Cup placed Siebenstein/Mirelle van Kemenade-Witlox/NED. Sir Hohenstein/Bianca Nowag won team gold and freestyle silver at the European Championships for U25 Grand Prix riders in Marignano/ITA.

Sir Donnerhall I repeatedly set unique records with his inheritance. In addition to Special Diva OLD (2014) and Smirnoff (2016), his full siblings Cindy OLD (2013), Sir Heinrich (2014), Candy OLD (2017), Caty OLD (2018) and Casey OLD (2020) won. Gold at the Federal Championships. Candy OLD and Casey OLD were also Oldenburg champion mares and thus lead the group of over 420 award-winning daughters of Sir Donnerhall I. Candy OLD also won bronze at the World Dressage Horse Championships (5 years). Sa Coeur became the double dressage horse world champion, became the top horse at the P.S.I. auction with a hammer price of 2.31 million euros and can boast international Grand Prix placements. He is just one of many auction price record holders from the house of Sir Donnerhall I.

There are over 100 licensed sons, including numerous winners and premium stallions as well as the World Dressage Horse Championship third place and Grand Prix success Sir Olli OLD/Enrique Cruces Fernandez/ESP.

Many Sir Donnerhall I daughters became stallion mothers, as can be seen from our winning stallions Dynamic Dream, Feinrich and Fynch Hatton, the state championship third place Don Romance PS, our two-time performance test record winner Sezuan's Donnerhall and our young star Total Diamond PS as well as the Olympic fifth place Glock's Total U.S. /Edward Gal/NED and the 1.7 million euro price sensation from the P.S.I. auction, the Oldenburg State Champion, eleventh place dressage horse at the Federal Championships and already S-placed Force Majeure ex. Prince Bayram/Frederic Wandres and Yara Reichert respectively. The Oldenburg champion mare, federal champion and P.S.I. price record holder Fasine OLD and her licensed full brothers For Romance I and II also have a Sir Donnerhall I dam. At the German Foal Championships 2019, Sir Donnerhall I once again produced a top foal with the second-placed filly. Sammy de Luxe won the AWÖ Foal Championships in 2021.

Sir Donnerhall himself was second Oldenburg reserve champion in 2003, HLP winner and Ia main premium stallion in 2005 and federal champion and dressage horse vice world champion (5 years) in 2006. He is supported up to the advanced level. Due to the high breeding demands, he was no longer used in tournament sports.

The father Sandro Hit, himself a dressage horse world champion and national champion, made a name for himself early on as a star stallion in dressage horse breeding.

From the dam St.Pr.St. Contenance D also includes the licensed full brother, four-time World Cup finalist as well as Olympic, World Cup and European Championship participant Sir Donnerhall II/Morgan Barbarçon/ESP, the AES-licensed Rubberball (by Rubinstein) and the also Grand Prix-successful Strategist/ Cora Jacobs.

The dam's father is the century sire Donnerhall.
