Baloutaire PS
Winner of the Frankfurt Champions Cup internationally successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions
Baloutaire PS was highly placed in 1.45m show jumping competitions with Philip Rüping. And that success continues for the sporty-looking show jumping star. At his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, he already received remarkable scores for his willingness to perform (9.5), his rideability (8.25) and his canter (8.0).
In terms of breeding, Baloutaire PS, who stood at stud for the first time in 2019, also made headlines with his promising foals.
The pedigree of Baloutaire PS combines the absolute elite of the world's best show jumping stallions, starting with his sire Balou du Rouet. Himself successful in 1.40m show jumping competitions, he sired Baloutinue/Laura Kraut/USA, Olympic team silver medallist, Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI, bronze medallist at the World and European Championships and eighth in the World Cup, Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI, team third at the European Championships, as well as Corouet/Sarah Bullimore/GBR, individual bronze medallist at the European Eventing Championships. He is not only by far the most successful son of his famous sire, the Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet, but also appears, once again, amongst the top 15 and top 12 of the world's best show jumping and eventing sires respectively, according to the WBFSH ranking.
His dam’s sire Chacco-Blue was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen, won the Grand Prix in Neumünster and has led the WBFSH ranking since 2017.
His grand-dam Nema produced Stakalite (by Stakkatol), who was successful in 1.50m show jumping competitions.
Voltaire, following in the third generation, achieved international triumphs with Jos Lansink/BEL. In 1989, he finished his show jumping career with a victory in the Berlin Grand Prix and second place in the Leeuwarden/NED Grand Prix.
The dam line of Baloutaire PS is of French origin. The mare family 94 produced stallions such as Belphegor IV, Fair Play III, Lyndon and Veneur du Prêlet and the Olympic Champion in London/GBR in 2012, Nino des Buissonnets with Steve Guerdat/SUI.
