Monte Carlo TC
Danish Champion of 6-year-old dressage horses
Great impression with his offspring at the stallion inspection 2024
The stallion Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC will be used entirely for sport. Blue Hors decided this in 2024, he will no longer be used for stud service and has been castrated.
He is still available through D.V. sperm - of very good quality.
2023
2023 was a real success year for Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC. Under the saddle of Nanna Skodborg Merrald he won the Danish Pavo Cup for six-year-old dressage horses. The KWPN premium stallion bred by Tim Coomans scored 91.4%. Walk (9.2) Trot (9.0) Gallop (8.8) and 'Rittigkeit' (9.5). What a great achievement! But also as a breeding stallion Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC seems very special. In 2020, after the KWPN stallion inspection, he went to Denmark where he became one of the most covering stallions. In the Netherlands he was used much less and he only gave birth to eleven foals, five of which were colts. Of those five, three young stallions came to the KWPN inspection in Ermelo and all three were selected for the 2nd viewing. In Den Bosch, 2 stallions were selected for the KWPN Performance Test.
2021
Our stallion Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC showed a very good foal collection in 2021. Many foals were highly placed at the various foal inspections throughout Europe. They were also sold for very good prices, even in Hanover during the Verden auction a Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC was the most expensive foal with € 41,000. At the KWPN offspring inspection in Ermelo he received a very positive assessment from the KWPN stallion jury; generally well-developed foals with a lot of breed. The neck is used well in the movement, the trot is uphill and light-footed and some foals show very good foreleg use. The canter is uphill with a good jump and imprint.
What performances Blue Hors Monte Carlo has already delivered. As a 2.5-year-old stallion, he was a trendsetter at the KWPN stallion inspection in Den Bosch, received a lot of applause from the enthusiastic audience and is therefore a premium stallion at this KWPN stallion inspection in 2020. He was then sold for half to Blue Hors in Denmark and he also became a premium stallion at the Danish stallion inspection in March. This was followed by a fantastic 14-day test in Vilhemsborg and a good breeding season. He had a lot of rest in the summer and in the autumn he built himself up again for the KWPN performance test. There he became reserve champion with 88 points and only 0.5 points away from the winner.
2020
The 14-day test in Denmark was a tough competition. All three-year-old dressage stallions purchased by Andreas Helgstrand participated. The overall winners were our stallion Monte Carlo and Iron. Results of Blue Hors Monte Carlo:
Conformation 10
Walk 9.0
Trot 9.0
Gallop 9.0
Rideability 9.0
Rideability guest rider 8.5
Free jumping 6.0
